Thermal Comfort Analysis

With the thermal comfort analysis, we assess the level of well-being achieved in a given area and the degree of satisfaction of the occupants; the condition of interior spaces strongly influences an occupants’ well-being and the quality of their stay in the building.

We carry out the analysis with the help of a dedicated software that provides the evaluation of two parameters:

The first is the Predicted Mean Vote (PMV), an index assessing an individual’s state of well-being that considers subjective and environmental variables.
The second is the PPD, which expresses the Predicted Percentage of Dissatisfied individuals in a given environment.
These values are calculated using the ambient thermo-hygrometric conditions, the activity carried out by the occupants of the area and the type of clothing they wear.

This analysis can also be carried out in conjunction with the requirements of sustainability protocols.
